Eloise Frischkorn:

of the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Industrial Hemp Council
Ms. Frischkorn is a respected development specialist. Her strengths include navigating state-wide and international political environments, network fundraising, and adaptive strategy execution. In addition, her passion is to challenge emerging market opportunities to create best practices by synthesizing general understanding with connectional intelligence to result in a strong profitable marketplace. A 7th generation Texan with a family lineage deep-rooted in Texas cattle ranching as well as statewide leadership dating back to Stephen F. Austin, she is a strong believer in the Texas promise-being a fierce independent spirit.
Eloise is recognized as a key participant and industry leader in Texas Hemp. She was the first appointed chairperson for Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller and the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Industrial Hemp Council. She believes that a more sophisticated understanding of the medicinal and industrial properties of the hemp plant will lend to the build-out of supply chain gaps in this nascent industry and catapult Texas to a top producer position in the nation.
Eloise was pivotal to Texas’s hemp program, having canvased the state and participated in conversations with Texas farmers and industry stakeholders leading up to the rollout of the Texas program. She has worked in partnership with the Agriculture Departments and industry colleagues in Florida, California, Colorado, Vermont, New York, Rhode Island, Oregon, South Carolina as well as the Senior Policy Advisor of the European Industrial Hemp Association and the emerging Mexico marketplace to solidify program standards for the Texas farmer.
